Going to Cardinal Spring Training games was part of a nice side trip to our excursion. Funny how I plan stuff like that. Since the Cards were playing a split squad game on Saturday, we decided to go to the Nationals ballpark near Melbourne in order to hopefully see most of the regulars. Spring Training games are such fun, since there is a 1/4 of the people at them and you can sit very close for fairly cheap. Cards won the first game and lost the second, but the fun was being back at the park.

A couple notes: There was an osprey's next on top of the light stand at the Nats' park. Also, fans were heckling Pujols a bit about his contract situation at the Cards home park. He had fun with it though.
