Our first stop on our vacation was the Kennedy Space Center. It was such a fitting beginning to our trip. We had so much fun, I guess since both of us love science and museums. We didn't think about the nature aspect of the island, but we sure did see a bunch. If you look closely at the center of the tree picture you can see an young eagle and its nest. We also experienced a simulated shuttle launch. If that was as bad as it really gets, we will be saving for tickets soon. We would highly recommend the Center if you are in the area. make sure you do the launch pad tours also. Another note, the stripes on the flag of the Assembly Building are large enough to be lanes for a tour bus.
